Dr.
Oscar Scarpetta's love for children and his empathy for the
suffering of many, motivated him to found the Institute that
carries his name. For 80 years in Cali, Colombia,
countless are the orphan children who have enjoyed the
benefits of this phenomenal home and have grown up to become
successful community members and useful citizens.
Following
her father's footsteps, Doña
Nohemy Scarpetta de Espindola
has transformed the Institute into what many may call
the best institution for children in the world.
Better known
as Mamá Nohemy, the Director's life has been completely devoted to
the life of hundreds of orphan children for over 35 years.
Mamá
Nohemy welcomes you to visit her home and experience the love,
peace and organization of which she is so very proud.
